A Day at the Lake...
On any given day you can find my Dad at the Lake fishing. The grandkids beg him to take them with him. It's not very easy to fish with kids running around so he usually tells them he will take them up soon. Monday was the day! The kids were in heaven. They caught a lot of fish and enjoyed floating around in the tube. I'm so proud of D.J., he learned how to fly fish, which is my Dad specialty. :) He caught four fish all by himself. He couldn't stop talking about it. When he got home I had to sit outside the shower so he could tell me all about it while he showered. I think that he may be fishing with Grandpa a little more now that he has proven himself. It was a great day. I just love the summer. I can't believe school will be starting in just a few weeks. Hopefully we can fit a few more fun things in before then.

That looks like so much fun. There is just something about water that makes summer a blast. You and your family do lots of fun stuff together. That's really cool!
That is so cool that he took them fishing...that is something they will never forget. He is such a good grandpa. Way to go DJ! He caught more fish in one day than I have my whole life!

Ha! I love the comment you left on my blog. That was a great day that will go down in history in my books, and nothin has changed with them. And yes, I have bad hair days all the time. The trick is I only wash it every 4 days. ;) Sometimes every 5.

Sweetie--I think you should enter that Ryann and the Frog pic into...something. I also love the balance, background and action of the pic of Libby playing in the water. You are certainly turning into that photographer that you once dreamed of becoming. LOOKING GOOD!!! Papa
