Lately D.J. has found a new passion, LEGOS. Yep, those little plastic blocks have brought him such happiness it actually brought him to tears. It was the sweetest thing ever. After a couple of hours cooped up in his room he came upstairs with his hands behind his back.
He said, "Mom, you'll never believe what I did!"
"What?"
"I made these all by MYSELF!"
As he said that he actually had tears in his eyes. I'm not kidding.
He was so proud of himself. It made me tear up as well.
Legos bring him joy, and seeing D.J. proud of himself after a lot of work brings me joy.

That is so sweet! I don't think I have ever seen my boys tear up unless it's over a tantrum. I love those legos and they really are hard work for those kids to put together! Way to go D.J.

How did you like dancing with the stars? My favorite boy was the kid from Hannah Montana because He was so funny and my favorite girl was Brooke Burke. I thought about you, the die hard fan as I was watching last night:)
What persistence. Way to go D.J. I am really going to have to give him that big LEGO set I got for Ev. Have fun cleaning those up:) Has Libby found the joy of Legos yet?
My brother and I used to play with Legos for hours. It really is a great thing for kids to play with. So good for their little minds to be creating things. He's so cute!
