Last night was D.J.'s first performance with the American Fork Children's Choir. He joined the choir last month and loves it. He always tells us that singing is his talent so I thought I would help him cultivate his talents and sign him up for choir. They sang at the opening of the Sleepy Hollow performance at the American Fork Amphitheatre. He even got to wear his Halloween costume. It was outdoors and it was freezing but we still had fun. Before the singing began they had lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy. They made old fashion toys, wrote letters with a quill, learned to seal letters with wax, and took them on a hayride. The boys loved it. D.J. did a great job singing, we are so proud of him.
You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." -Gordon B. Hinckley
