We also got together as a family on her real birthday for some cake and delicious homemade ice cream (Mom's favorite) that my Dad made all by himself from scratch. Good job Dad!
Mom with her new pink camera from Dad. I love it, I want a pink camera!
Obviously the cake had black frosting on it. :)
The kids decorated everything for Grandma, even poor little Ryann.
When my Mom got to work on her birthday her friends at work had put these signs up all over the building. Hilarious!
I had to post these pictures because I thought they were funny. I was trying to get a picture of my brothers and Ryann the other day but Ryann was too interested in Uncle Jeff's earrings to look at the camera. I know Ryann we are wondering why he's wearing earrings as well. :) JK Jeff, I love ya!
Last Saturday the girls in the family continued our tradition of shopping all day and watching the Relief Society Broadcast together. It is one of my favorite days of the year. This year Mandy and Jayanne couldn't make it, we missed you guys. The fun began at 7:00 a.m. at Mimi's Cafe for breakfast, then we were off to Target, The Gateway, Costa Vida for lunch, Tai Pan, Roberts, Big Lots, Parker's for dinner and ended at Mom's house to watch the broadcast and work on a service project. It was a wonderful day! I can't wait for next year!
I made Annette model this ridiculous headband for me. Honestly, it's little big don't ya think?
Mom shopped til' she dropped but Harmony was still going strong!
Here's the damage we can do in one day. Notice the black trees we found at Tai Pan for Halloween, it was my favorite purchase of the day.
And last but not least, D.J. started flag football. He really likes it. Yesterday was his first game and he never came to the side to complain that he was tired once, that's a miracle. Maybe football is his sport!

Hey that sounds so fun. I love days like that.
Hey what was the name of the photographer that did your family pics again? Did you say he has a website? Was he way expensive...meaning would it be worth it to use him just for my little family or is it better to have all of the family?
Don't you love how I turned your comment section into my own personal message board to you. : )
Oh man, I spaced that party for your mom! We had wanted to go....shoot. And to find out there was a chocolate fountain??? (even if it did turn into fondue). I blew it for sure.
You guys sure can shop!
Holy shopping!! That is awesome. That tradition sounds way fun. Too bad it would just be my me and my mom if we did that...too many boys! It sounds like you guys are doing great!
Your day of shopping is amazing! I need to start a tradition like that. I love all the desserts too, that's my kind of party. :)
I've been waiting to see what I missed out on! Wow--you've been busy. I'm so sad that I wasn't able to come to your Mom's party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were planning to come. I can see that in spite of her OLD age, she still knows how to have fun or at least all you kids do! Hahaha
We love you guys!!!
Oops, I meant to tell you that I still have your Mom's card to send...I'll get it to her--hopefully by her next birthday!!! Hahaha
