Saturday morning my Mom hosted a breakfast for the Hansen family. When my grandparents were alive we had breakfast every Christmas morning at their house. Since they have been gone we have unfortunately let this tradition die. Well, no more. My Mom has decided that she is tired of not seeing her family so she is going to start making breakfast at her house on the Saturday before Christmas. It was so great to see everyone. Next year I hope we can have even more family come. Thanks Mom for the great party!
After breakfast Trevor and Todd decided to get the four-wheeler out and take the kids on the tube. They had a blast. No major injuries either so that's a plus.
To warm up after tubing everyone piled into the hot tub. Then Trevor decided to play the Double Dare game and had all the kids rolling in the snow in their swimming suits. Crazy kids, I need to teach them to 'Just say NO!'
It turned out to be a really great day. We stayed at my parents all day and just hung out. At one point we found Libby and Ryann (Nick's daughter) sneaking into the presents under the tree. They are so cute together. Tyler and Oakley snacked on Cheetoes all afternoon. After the hot tub the kids put together puzzles, and listened to Grandma read stories. Then to end the great day lots of us enjoyed a nice nap. Oh how I love days like that!

That's a fun tradition to start. I love big breakfasts. that's funny about the hot tub.
I've been reading all of your posts and just keep thinking of what a great Mom you are, what great memories you are forming, and wishing for one of those lazy days of games and fun with the family. Sarah you are so blessed. :)
