School Christmas Parties

Santa made a quick visit to Luke's Preschool Christmas party. Luke was so nervous around him that he couldn't remember what he wanted for Christmas. Harmony and I had to laugh because poor Santa kept losing his mustache and beard. The kids didn't even notice.

Luke frosted these cookies for me. He also announced to the whole class that his Mom couldn't eat them because of her braces. Funny kid. I wouldn't pass up cookies, even if they did get stuck in my braces. :)

This is the gift Luke made Trevor and I. It's a cute poem and his hand prints. I love it. It's on my dresser right next to the portrait D.J. drew of me.

I was in charge of D.J.'s 2nd grade Christmas party this year. It turned out really fun. The kids favorite part was the Santa's beard game. I put Vaseline on two kids faces and their teams had 1 minute to stick cotton balls on their faces and make a beard. The biggest beard won. We ended up playing it about 10 times. We also had a gift exchange, wrote Santa letters, and made Christmas cards.

D.J. and his beard.

What a cute idea! I'll definitely have to keep that one in mind for the future!
