Last week we made two visits to the pediatrician. Liberty had her 18 month check up and she is growing well, very well. She is 32 inches long and 34 lbs! She is off the charts. My niece Oakley that is 6 weeks older than Libby is 26 lbs. so needless to say when they are together Libby looks like a 2 year old. Her doctor put it best, she isn't chunky, she's just VERY healthy. :)
On Saturday it was Luke's turn. He had his check-up for Kindergarten. The doctors office made it fun for the kids by having a clown make balloon animals for them, and prizes when they were done. Luke liked all of it except the shots. He had to get five! OUCH! He did well though, he only screamed while they were giving him the shots and then he was OK. Like Libby, he is a big boy. The doctor said he is at least 2 inches taller and 10 lbs. heavier than the average Kindergartner. He said he is glad he is a nice boy because with his size he could be quite the bully. I guess Trevor and I just have some BIG genes. What can we say...We know how to grow em'!

Doctor days are so..much fun! I can't believe Libby weighs 32lbs. Mason is only at 27lbs. That is crazy. Hey and Luke is so cute I can't wait to see them tomorrow. I think they are such cute kids. By the way I know the nurse that is in the picture with Luke. She was in my home ward growing up. Kind of funny!!
Wow, they are both so cute! A clown at the doctors office...I am glad I wasn't there. LOL I need to take Kiley in for her appt too, but I am dreading it! I registered her today and so I better get on it and get her appt. made huh!! They grow up too fast!
LOL!!!That's funny, my doctor said the same thing about Brylee, she's not fat, just healthy!:) She already weighs 27lbs. That's okay..."healthy" babies are the best!
They are both so cute! My kids are so skinny! I would love to have a baby with rolls like that! You got a beautiful little girl after having two boys, that gives me hope! :) What day was your baby born? My baby will be 18 months on the 28th so they're not that far apart!
Do you go to dr willis? I swear that is carole in your pic! Crazy how fast kids grow up! Peyton is pretty petiete and people tink i don't feed her she could use some rolls!
Sarah,
Libby's girth is required to assure her survival against the boys assults and contributes to her wonderfully-big smile.
Also, I believe that her size is symbolic of a strength of testimony to stay firm and strong against the challenges of the last days.
Liberty's spirit already exhibites
fortitude, independence and open love and affection.
God indeed knows what he is doing with my grand daughter Libby.
Love, Grandpa Ivins
