Every year on Memorial Day I love to visit the graves of our loved ones with my Mom. My Mom takes all the things we need to clean off the headstones. Last year I took D.J. with us and he loved it. I was thrilled when he wanted to go again this year. He and Libby did a great job cleaning the headstones. Libby even started cleaning all the headstones around us. D.J. loved hearing all the stories my Mom told him about his Great-Grandparents and his Great Uncle Neil. Neil is my Mom's brother. He was a bull rider and was killed while riding a bull in a rodeo. D.J. thinks it is awesome that he had a relative that is a 'real' cowboy.
You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." -Gordon B. Hinckley
