I have been really bad at updating the blog lately. We have been so busy this month I don't even know where to start. So here is a quick overview of the past 6 weeks.
Sorensen Family Reunion
Ketchum, Idaho
Our favorite part of the reunion was when we rented bikes and went on a bike ride together. The kids had so much fun.Cedar Hills Family Festival
Each Summer our little town has a family festival in the park. The kids love going to the parade in the morning and then spending the day doing all the fun activities in the park. This year their favorite things were... D.J. : Being dunked in dunk machine over and over and over...
Luke: Getting sprayed by the firetruck
Libby: Loved the pony rides. Her favorite pony was the one with the pink hair.
Swimming Lessons & Pool Fun
I got lucky this year and was able to get all 3 kids in swimming lessons at the same time. I took the parent & me class with Libby while the boys did their lessons. Libby loved having her cousins Ryann & Oakley in the class with her. They love each other so much.

D.J. loves to go on the diving board this year.
We even convinced Great Grandma to join us one day for some sunshine by the pool.
4th of July Weekend
We had a great holiday weekend. For the third year in a row we went to the Orem Owlz baseball game and watched the fireworks after the game. This has become one of my favorite family traditions. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. We also spent some time at the reservoir fishing with Grandpa and then enjoyed a BBQ and firework show at my Mom & Dad's house. It was one of the most relaxing weekends we have had in a long time.
Martial Arts
The boys were able to attend two free martial arts classes this month. They enjoyed it so much and are begging their Dad and I to sign them up for more classes. Maybe later but life is so busy right now I just can't bring myself to add one more thing to our schedule right now.
River Rafting Trip
Whew... O.K., just throw in Youth Conference and Girls Camp and that should cover the past six weeks around here. I can't believe how fast Summer is going. I looked at the calendar today and noticed that the boys start school again in less that 4 weeks. Wow! Hopefully we can fit in a couple more adventures before then. :)
River Rafting Trip
Trevor and I were lucky enough to sneak away for a few days with some of our friends Craig & Diane and Nick & Annette for a river rafting trip. It was SO MUCH FUN! We went to Jackson Hole on the first night we were there and did some shopping. We then had dinner at The Bar J Ranch. If you haven't been there you need to go. It is such a fun experience. The other two days were filled with rafting, rafting, and more rafting. We ran the Snake River 6 times. I loved it, I really hope we get to do it again soon.

You need school to start so you can get some rest. But it sounds like you've had a fun summer. I can't believe it's almost August. It's gone by too fast.
Finally! I was beginning to wonder if you had disappeared. You guys have more fun than anyone I know. My poor kids don't know what they're missing! Let's get together sometime soon before school starts again.

Looks like fun! We always go to the baseball game on the 24th. We love it too! I so wanted to go river rafting when we lived out there. My husband got to do it and he loved it to!
WOW! You've been busy! Looks like you guys have had a fun summer. I'm jealous you went river rafting. I've wanted to do that but since my Hubby almost died rafting when he was little...I don't know if I can get him to take me.=)

Sarah - You totally just pulled a "Heidism" waiting so long to update! ha ha There is just no time sometimes. Libby is so stinkin cute in her little daisy swim suit. Martial Arts is the way to go - well my brothers did it and loved it. But I'm the same way - one more thing right? Looks like you've all been havin fun!
