March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's birthday. We like to celebrate it every year by watching The Cat in the Hat DVD and having green eggs and hams for dinner. This year I decided that while we ate dinner we would make a rule that you could only talk in rhyme since that's how Dr. Seuss wrote his books. It was hilarious. Honestly, I don't think we have laughed that hard together in a long time. Trevor really got into it and the boys could barely eat there dinner because that couldn't stop laughing. Libby had no idea what we were doing but she laughed right along with us. For dessert we enjoyed Cat in the Hat bubble gum guys from the Peppermint Place. What a great night. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

That's so funny! I love the picture of DJ with his head thrown back laughing! What a sweet pic!! I think you should share some of the rhymes that Trevor made up! I'm sure they got pretty hilarious. We get pretty dorky trying to make our kids laugh don't we? ha ha
