The boys were excited to wear their new St. Patrick's Day shirts. Well D.J.'s was new, Luke's was recycled from last year. I gave Luke D.J.'s shirt from last St. Patrick's Day and hoped he wouldn't recognize it but he did. Luckily he thought it was cool that he got to have D.J.'s shirt so he was happy. Libby on the other hand wouldn't have anything to do with wearing green. She HAS to wear pink everyday or apparently she'll die. I did sneak a green bow in her hair when she wasn't looking so she wouldn't get pinched at dance class. :)
When I was younger my Mom would give us Lucky Charms for breakfast every St. Patrick's Day. She now buys them for all the grand kids to enjoy. Of course they had to eat it with the milk the leprechaun colored green while we were sleeping. He also changed all our toilet water and bath water green. Luke saw it and yelled, "MOM! The leprechaun peed in all of our toilets and then he peed in our bath water. I'm not getting in there!" Not exactly what I had pictured but it was hilarious.
