We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend this year. On Saturday morning we visited the cemetery with my Mom. Memorial Day is one of my Mom's favorite holidays. She brought pictures of our relatives who have passed away and told the kids about them. It was neat for the kids to be able to see what the people looked liked. She also brought supplies to clean around the graves and to wash the headstones.
On Saturday night we went to Orem to support Weston at his
baseball tournament. He did a great job.
Sunday morning Trevor and I decided to would be fun to take the trailer up the canyon and camp for a night. After church we headed up American Fork canyon and had some fun as a family. We love living so close to the canyon. The boys favorite part was chopping the wood. Libby loved going on walks looking for pink ponies. I'm not sure why she thought there were pink ponies in the mountains but she did so we went looking for them.

Luke liked helping his Dad make dinner. They made our favorite, tinfoil dinners, yummy!

Looks like it was a wonderful Memorial Day weekend for you and your family. Why is it that the birds never miss pooping on the head stones? LOL Good job to all the little cleaners. I am sure they all looked great after they were done. Camping looks so fun and I am glad you got to go already, more to come I am sure! Love all the detailed pictures!
