Turning 30...

In June I celebrated my 30th birthday. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't too excited about my birthday. Everyone kept telling me to embrace it, 30 isn't so bad...well, I just couldn't. No matter how much I tried I wasn't excited to be leaving my twenties. Trevor asked me if I wanted a party and I QUICKLY said "no!" He still wanted to celebrate and planned a surprise get away for the two of us. It was so much fun! We went shopping in Park City, stayed at the Anniversary Inn for two nights, saw a play at Hale Center Theatre (The Wedding Singer, one of my favorites), went to the movies, and ate at The Roof on temple square. It was the best birthday gift ever. I loved being alone with Trevor for 3 whole days. He really can cheer me up no matter what...even when I'm depressed about becoming an old lady. :)

This is the only picture we took. I know it's a BAD picture but I didn't have another option, LOL. It was so relaxing I didn't even think about getting out the camera.

Thanks Trevor for the best vacation I've had in years. Let's do it every birthday!

I'm with you about the whole '30' thing. I still cringe when I say I'm 30...it just doesn't seem right that we are 30...we were just in high school a few years ago right?!?! LOL
I'm glad you had a good birthday. =)

Wow, what a fatastic birthday!! I want to go do that right now!! I love being 30! I feel a lot better about being a fat ass when I'm 30 than I did when I was 25!! Glad you had a great one! Happy Birthday!!!

I totally know how you feel. turning 30 kicked my butt. But when anyone asks my age, I just tell them I'm turning 29 for the 6th straight year! :) It sounds like it turned out to be a good birthday anyway. Happy Birthday!
