D.J. is SEVEN!

My little boy is growing up! Today he is celebrating his seventh birthday. I really can't believe it, times is flying by. D.J. is one funny little man. He makes me laugh everyday. He can also be very emotional. He comes up with the most random questions sometimes. The other night he was upset and I asked him what was wrong. He told me that there wasn't anything special about him and that made him sad. I quickly reassured him that he had lots of special things about him. One of the most important being that he is the only person in the world who made me a Mom for the first time. He liked this answer. He is now very proud and likes to remind his brother that he is the one that made me a Mom and not Luke. It's kind of sweet.

I want to share SEVEN UNIQUE things about D.J.

1- He LOVES mustard sandwiches

2- He gets the words Quesadilla and Diarrhea mixed up all the time. It's pretty funny when he comes out of the bathroom and says "Oh mom, I don't feel very good, I have the worst Quesadilla." Or when he asks for a Diarrhea for lunch.

3- He could watch the same episode of 'Cyberchase' over and over again and never get sick of it.

4- He has NO PATIENCE.

5- He wants lots of siblings. He told Trevor and I he would like to be the oldest of 16 kids. (yeah right)

6- He wants to serve his mission in Idaho so that he can live with his Grandma & Grandpa Sorensen while he's there. (as a mother, I would love that)

7- He says his greatest talent is singing. He sings all the time. Car rides can get a little loud!

I love everything about you D.J.! You made me a Mom 7 years ago and I am so grateful for that! Happy Birthday Bud!

P.S. He lost another tooth today! That makes...ummm...I lost count, but it's a lot!
