The Cake
This was the little cake I made for Libby to dig into all by herself. It turns out she doesn't like cake. She sure enjoyed the ice cream that Uncle Nick gave her though.
The older kids played 'Go Fish' and Libby wanted to be in the middle of all the fun. As you can see from the picture D.J. was not amused.
We also played 'Match the food with the animal'. It was really fun. The kids liked eating all the "animal" food when we were done.
When we sang to Libby she didn't know what to do with the cake in front of her so she just went in for a bite. It was so cute.
Just when we were about recovered from Liberty's party it was D.J.'s turn. He had a 'Star Wars' party on Saturday.
What do you get when you have... Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Lots of cake and ice cream, lightsabers, 200 balloons, water guns, a swimming pool, a blowup waterslide and 33 kids?
One Awesome Party!
This is the lightsaber training.

It was an awesome party at DJ's. Weston says Libby's was awesome, too. You have such a talent- you should be a professional cake decorator and party planner :)
You throw the best parties! My kids LOVED DJ's party! I do wonder if your yard will ever recover though. Libby's party looks adorable - I am way impressed with her individual cake.
They were so fun. Hopefully your lawn will recover soon. You did a great job planning. Next year you are all over Aspen's party, right? Maybe then it will get done.
Sarah - I have to say you made the cutest cakes for your kids (unless you didn't make them at all - but they look homemade - and I know how cooking isn't your favorite thing...so congratulations on making cute cakes!) I can't believe D.J. is 7!!!
Happy birthday DJ and Libby! You are so creative those look like some fun parties.
OK, your kids must think you are the coolest mom! How do you do it? It looks like they had a blast. 7 years old, wow!
