Blog worthy...

On Monday night we were driving in the car when Luke started teaching us a lesson.

"We shouldn't listen to the guy with only a head!" Luke said.

"What?", I asked.

"Never, ever, listen to the bad guy with just a head. He will always tell you to do bad things," He said.

"Where did you hear about this bad guy with only a head?" I asked.

"In primary."

OK I thought, still very confused.

Just then Trevor started laughing. He had substituted in Primary on Sunday and had just remembered what the lesson was. He then told me that they had talked about Satan. In the lesson they talked about how Jesus Christ has a body like us, but Satan doesn't have a body.

So naturally as a 4 year old he understood that as, Satan doesn't have a body just a head.

I LOVE how their little minds work!

I do not understand to study Jesus and Satan at school at 4 years old... it is too young for me. Scool must also leave a place for other religion.

Merlin,
We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My son learned this lesson at primary, not public school, which is an hour set aside during our religious meetings where the children learn lessons about Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. It is taught at a level that these little children can understand. If you would like to learn more about it you can visit www.lds.org :)
