Every once in a while Trevor and I set aside one day on the calendar that is completely dedicated to having fun together. The kids call them 'Family Fun Days'. Saturday was one of these days...
We then made our way to the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City...
Once we were there we surprised the boys with tickets to the 'Walking with the Dinosaurs' show. They LOVED it! I'll admit, I have been wondering if it would be worth the money but I was pleasantly surprised. It was really great. The dinosaurs looked so life-like, you couldn't take your eyes off of them.

After the show we walked to The Gateway. If you were there, yes, we were those bad parents who let the kids run in the water fountains even though it was FREEZING cold. Don't worry, we let them warm up by the fire pit.
We then headed home for a much needed nap...
Now starts the planning for our next adventure... any ideas???

That looks like so much fun! You plan some pretty fun stuff with your kids!
Oh and you better put that award on your blog! You know I gave it to you...I just feel bad if I put some names and not everyone's...ya know! Of course you have a fabulous blog though!!!
Wow that looks like a lot of fun. Where the Dinosaurs scary for the kids? They looked scary from the advertisements on tv. I will see you on Thursday. Don't worry about bringing anything. I got it covered.
