My parents drove behind me, and my sister Harmony and her family brought up the rear. It was a pretty uneventful ride until this...
To make a long story short my Dad and Trevor had to drive back to Nephi to get the tire fixed so the rest of us had an hour and a half pit stop on the side of the road. We watched a movie, told stories, read books, took lots of videos of each other, and enjoyed our little 'adventure'.
My brothers and their families went down a couple of days early so we meet them at the campsite in Snow Canyon. We fit a lot of fun in the few hours before sundown.
Nick took the girls for a little walk after dinner.
At dark we broke out the marshmallows and made smores.
My Mom & Dad started a new tradition this year, Family Flags. We each decorated a flag to represent our family and hung it on our tent or trailer. My parents bought each of us a Snow Canyon pin to put on the flag. Each year we will add something to our flags that represent where we camped that year.
Then it was off to our 'CASTLE IN THE CANYON'! (see below) The kids set out their Easter baskets and crashed as soon as they hit their pillows. Day 1 was a blast!

Wow what fun day! I can't even imagine what the rest of the trip is like. I couldn't stop laughing at the video of the boys singing. I loved it. Cute idea about the flags your parents are so creative, I see where you get it. I hope to see you soon!! :)
That looks so fun! Your family is so awesome, you guys always do fun family outings together! Your kids must love it! You have great pictures of everyone, especially the kiddos.
Is that what you can the "Spring Musical"? Those boys. Those pics are awesome. That last one doesn't do your get-up justice. It's rockin'! I'll stay tuned for day 2 and so on.
Now that looks like fun - brings me back to the days I went camping with your family. I never could cut up those veggies right for the dutch oven dish - but it was great times!
