Day three had us all running for the sand dunes!
We spent three hours in the sand dunes on Monday. The kids were in heaven. It felt like we were in one giant sandbox. Of course Bocce ball was played, the football was tossed around, and kids were buried. :)
Ryann was so funny at the sand dunes. We must not have been much fun, because every time her Dad would turn around she would start scooting down the hill on her bottom.
The Saunders Family
After our fun in the sand we headed back to camp. Some of us took much needed naps and others played a little jump rope.
After our down time at the campsite we headed out to explore some caves. I was so proud of the kids. None of them complained or got scared once, and there were some really hard parts on the hike. They loved using flashlights to explore. Harmony was shocked at how much garbage people left all over the caves and started picking up every piece she saw. Eventually everyone joined in the cleaning and we definitely left the caves better than we found them. :)
Harmony & Aspen with all the garbage they picked up on our hike. Good job ladies!
While looking at this picture of Trevor and I please remember that we are on day 3 of camping, hence the nice sunburn, dirty hair, and no makeup. :)
Whew.... we are tired, but we still have one more day of fun...stay tuned!
